Leeds is a City in West Yorkshire, located on the eastern side of the Pennine mountains, and best known for it’s historic links to the textile industry.
The City of Leeds is located next to the River Aire, and is also an important stop on the Leeds – Liverpool Canal that crosses the Pennines.
Leeds has long had a reputation for shopping opportunities in it’s markets and arcades, and particularly in the Leeds Corn Exchange. In the late 1990’s Leeds was being touted as the next best fashion shopping destination in the UK after London.
